About This Page

This place is a place of thoughts, musings, observations on the lives of people who walk the call of ministry and want to keep moving towards living it authentically.  It is a meeting of minds seeking to understand a youth minister's call and how the heart is shaped and formed to heed this call every moment of everyday.  It is this attempt at understanding the struggle to respond to a vocation that is not given to many but to a chosen few who carry the burden of staying real in an everyday world.

This page has been inspired by GK Chesterton's words saying,
"The swiftest things are the softest things. A bird is active because a bird is soft. A stone is helpless, because a stone is hard. The stone must by its own nature go downwards because hardness is weakness. A bird can of it's nature go upwards because fragility is force."
The Youth experience this fragility everyday.  Most adults see this as rebellion or stubborness or difficult behavior.  They see this as age gaps or communication gaps.  The Youth deal with a lot of pressure and for me personally, are most of the time misunderstood.  It is my prayer that this page can help people become more aware of youth issues and how they need all the help they can get so that they can be the future that we all look forward to having them be.
